To improve your posture - Turn up your palms. That’s it!
This is great for people who use their hands all the time, like myself in my line of work as a massage therapist/reflexologist. Our lifestyles force our hands and arms into an almost constant downward/backward position, creating a tendency for our upper body to slouch forward. This slumped-forward posture that so many of us have unfortunately developed as a result of sustained computer use and texting/surfing on our phones/ipads.
So, lets fix this! Anytime you don’t need your hands, turn them palm-side up. Yes, while walking/running/reading/showering/whatever, turn one or both palms forward "supinate". Give it a try for a minute and attempt to do it often in your day.
If you’re using your hands, stop and rest them against your thighs. Now turn both palms so that they’re facing up toward the ceiling.
